Coppola in Budapest in Secrecy BUDAPEST - Francis Ford Coppola (66) made a quick visit in Budapest . The world-famous director has a shoot in Romania and on one of his days-off he decided to visit Budapest . The father of Godfather spent the day at the Hungarian-origin producer, Andy Vajna and his girl friend, Kata Dobó. Later they all visited the Golden Eye Gala, where the best Hungarian cinematographers were awarded. Coppola was great at mingling with the elegant crowd. However, when Lajos Koltai happily greeted him on the stage, he suddenly made his way towards the exit and disappeared. The guests present may have thought his revealed incognito embarrassed the star director but as we learnt - it was his work because of which he had to leave so quickly. 'He spent only a day in Hungary , he popped in to see us, but he is leaving right now for Romania ', stated Vajna for Blikk . For the sake of the event another world-famous Hungarian man, Vilmos Zsigmond also travelled home from the US in order to receive the Legend Award, which he got from HSC for his lifetime work.
